Indiana University rose to #1 in NCAA Division I football from a position of 125 out of 136. That's an excellent worst to best climb in the matter of two years.

Something can be said for the fact that IU would have been moved to the sub-tier. But, then winning its way up to the top-tier after a great year.
Other teams that are not in the Big 10 can't do such a climb.
